Summer vacation of our school is from July 23rd (Sat) to August 16th (Tue).
During this period, our office will be opened from 10:00am to 4:00pm (except weekends) and closed from August 6th (Sat) to August 14th (Sun).

Summer vacation is coming soon so our school held "summer orientation " for all classes on 3 days: July 11th (Mon), 12th (Tues), and 13th (Wed).
This time, we invited Mr. Hiroyuki Doi and Ms. Kyoko Aida from the Metropolitan Police Department to teach our students about Japanese law, especially about crimes related to international students.
Students have learned a lot about cases of committing crimes unknowingly and how to protect herself/himself when she/he is involved in a crime.
After the lesson, many students commented that the lecture was very interesting and easy to understand even the content was about law and crime.

Today is the Tanabata day.
Students read the tale of Tanabata, listened and sang Tanabata song, and learnt more about Japanese culture. Then, students wrote their wishes on strips of paper, folded origami and made decorations. We had a joyful time today.
Dear students, you all could write your deepest wishes, right? We do hope that your wishes will come true!
On May 30th (Monday), we participated in a community cleanup activity around the school. This is one way to express our gratitude to the local community who are always taking care of us.
Thanks to the help of the street mayor and local residents, our event was carried out successfully.
Here are some opinions from students after the event: “We can talk with Japanese”、 “Cleanup event was fun”, “I want to join this event again”, so on.
It was a meaningful social study for students to experience Japanese culture while communicating with Japanese people.

On Wednesday, May 25th, College President Seiko Hayama held a special lecture on Japanese affairs.
In the beginning, she expressed her hope that each student would pay attention to their health and strive to learn Japanese without any accidents.
Additionally, she carefully talked about Japanese culture as well as various manners and rules of Japanese society for students to live safely and securely, about common sense and customs, etc. She also emphasized the importance of compliance with Japanese laws and regulations. On 4/28 (Thursday) , our school hold a walking event in Asukayama park!
This is the first event for new students to go out for extra-curricular learning. The fresh greenery was so beautiful that everyone seemed much brighter with shinning eyes while enjoying Japan’s fresh air. Besides, new students had more chance to talk with friends from other countries.

On April 7th, when the cherry blossoms were fluttering, first new students started the school year with fresh spring breeze, and an orientation was held.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many students were unable to enter Japan so not only the students but also the faculty and staff have been waiting for this day for a long time.
At the beginning of the orientation, President Hayama and Principal Ezaki expressed their gratitude and enthusiastic welcome to the new students. Following the placement test, class guidance and lifestyle guidance were given. The students looked like joyful with sparkling eyes while listening intently to the orientation.

TIEC Ikebukuro held a 2-part graduation ceremony for its fourth year on the 18th of March.
At the ceremony, Koki Ezaki, the principal of TIEC Ikebukuro handed out graduation certificate to all the students as well as presented the Perfect Attendance Award to SHEN LIUYANG and ZHANG NI.
Afterwards, BUI VUONG PH, ZHANG LEIJING and NGUYEN VAN TRUONG on behalf of the class gave their speech on stage.
Teachers and staffs also sent their best wishes to the students, with principal Ezaki sending out his 3 following wishes below to the students,
