Winter holiday is from December 18th (Sat) to January 10th (Mon). During this period,  the office hours is from 9:00am to 3:00pm on weekdays. Please notice that the office is closed from December 25th (Sat) to January 6th (Thu). Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

  Field trip to the Edo-Tokyo Museum. Our student had a field trip to the Edo-Tokyo Museum on Wednesday, December 8th. The student learned about the history and culture of Edo-Tokyo through actual materials and restored models. Some of the students gave a high ratings like , ‘Seeing the model of bustling city of Edo-time, I could imagine what it was like in real life and I wanted to go back to Edo period!’ An another student said, ‘it was very interesting to see how Tokyo developed rapidly as the times changed. I learned a lot! I want to go again!’ It was a very valuable experience for the students to learn more about Edo-Tokyo while having fun.

On Friday 22 October, our school organized extracurricular learning activities of disaster prevention in Ikebukuro disaster prevention Museum. The students experienced and learned about the actions to be taken and things to be prepared in case of earthquake, smoke, fire fighting and other scenes. This extracurricular study is a valuable experience for students who have not experienced earthquake and fire.

From September 27 to September 29, we held an online meeting for October session students who still haven’t yet entered Japan. The participants were, S.Hayama(CEO), K.Ezaki(Principle), M.Dobashi (Academic affairs director), M.Sugawara(Teacher). We talked a lot with the students and encouraged them to keep up studying Japanese while they are waiting for entry Japan. And students showed their passion to realize their dreams to come to study in Japan. Thank you all for attending! We looking forward to meeting them as soon as possible.

A off-campus study! -Walking around Asukayama Park and visiting the Paper Museum-

 Carrying out the policy for preventing spread of infection of COVID-19, our school organized a off-campus study on 4/19(Fri).  We took a walk in Asukayama Park and saw Yae Sakura, and then relaxed ourselves through these beautiful sceneries.  After that, we visited a paper museum.  We learned lots of things from paper and really had a very meaningful and enjoyable time!

TIEC Ikebukuro held a 2-part graduation ceremony for its third year on the 18th of March.   Koki Ezaki, the principal of TIEC Ikebukuro handed out graduation certificate to all the students as well as presented the Perfect Attendance Award to DONG KHANH LINH and DOAN THI THANH MAI. Afterwards, TRAN THI HIEN, TRAN XUAN HIEU, and WANG YI gave their speech on stage. Teachers and staffs also sent their best wishes to the students, with principal Ezaki sending out his 3 following wishes below to the students,   To live a healthy life. To pass JLPT N1. To love your family well.   After the photo shooting, students left the venue with a memory they will presumably never forget for the rest of their lives.
