Our outstanding graduate, Mr. Yuewei Song, is currently a second-year student at Nihon University’s Graduate School of Art. His works have been exhibited in museums many times and he has had great success in exhibitions, including being selected for the “Ueno Royal Museum Grand Prize Exhibition” consecutively. His works and his brilliant achievements reveal his enthusiasm and persistence for painting, as well as his outstanding talent for painting.
This February, Song will hold his solo exhibition “Dialogue of Time and Life” at Ginza Gallery The Origin of Beauty, and among the many exhibitions that take place in February, his solo show is by far the most outstanding.
Since coming to Japan, Song has always considered the flow of time and how he can express the flow of time and the way he perceives the moment in his paintings, and he has been creating around the theme of “time. For this solo exhibition, he has carefully selected the works that best fit the theme of “time” from among his four years of work. “This solo exhibition has a very important meaning for me. I want to bring my study abroad experience to an end with good results.” he said. This exhibition will be a big leap forward for Mr. Song, who is planning to return to his home country to pursue his career. Recently, Mr. Song visited the Tokyo International Exchange College Ikebukuro school to share this good news with his former teacher, Mrs Dobashi.
The entire TIEC staff congratulates Mr. Yuewei Song on her solo exhibition and wishes his continued success in his future endeavors.
