In August and September, each class visited the Ikebukuro Life Safety Learning Center to take part in a hands-on disaster preparedness program.
Students experienced earthquake simulations, smoke evacuation drills, and fire extinguishing practice. Advanced classes also learned basic first aid techniques.
We hope this experience helps students stay calm and act safely if they ever face an earthquake or fire in Japan.
For those who learned first aid, we hope they will remember these skills and use them not only in Japan but also in other countries.
