At the Tokyo International Exchange Ikebukuro School, we made heart and star-shaped paper strips using origami.
Students wrote their wishes on the strips their made with heartfelt dedication.
We hope our wishes come true!
On May 30th, on "Zero Garbage Day", we participated in a local cleanup activity with the members of the Minamiotsuka 3-chome Toshima Ward Town Council.
We were divided into several groups and using tongs (garbage scissors) and garbage bags, cleaning the area around the school, the road that we used to go to and from school every day, and the location of the neighborhood association in cooperation with the members of the neighborhood association.
Participating students commented, "I think Japanese people value the environment and the environment in which they live. It was a great learning experience."

We went hiking to Mount Takao, a famous mountain in Hachioji, Tokyo, on the beautiful day of May 12th, adorned with fresh greenery.
Fortunately, the weather was favorable, and We enjoyed a lively hike under the invigorating clear sky.
The air was pristine and delicious, an experience We don't typically encounter daily. There were many other hikers that day, and as we passed, we exchanged greetings and climbed energetically. The beauty of nature is rarely experienced in the urban setting, making it a joyful day.

On March 22nd, the Tokyo International Exchange School Ikebukuro Campus held its 5th Graduation Ceremony. The ceremony took place under the beautiful cherry blossom-filled sky of a pleasant spring day. Due to the prolonged entry restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony was limited in attendance, but the graduates attended the ceremony with confidence and joy, having overcome various difficulties during their studies.
