The students had a great time playing games and singing in each class.

On November 14th, under the clear autumn sky adorned with the brilliance of fall, as part of our curriculum, we visited the renowned "NIHON MIN-KA EN " located in Tama, Kawasaki City.
We had the opportunity to explore traditional Japanese-style houses. Viewing everyday items and tools from the past provided a close-up look at the daily life of historical Japan, sparking our imaginations.
The weather was delightful, it was a time of sensation.
Sharing this experience with friends and teachers from the academy, we engaged in enjoyable conversations, deepening our camaraderie. Overall, it was a meaningful day of fostering connections and exploring Japanese cultural heritage.
On October 30, a joint paper presentation meeting for classes M1 and M2 was held in the conference room of Toshima City Civic Center.
Using their own interests or friends' anecdotes, life or social issues as themes, each person elaborated sometimes passionately and sometimes quietly.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to showcase the results of our daily learning.
This time, 51 students enrolled as new students in October, and classes began on October 12th.
Although the new students were nervous, they enthusiastically attended their first class in Japan.

On September 4th (Monday) and 6th (Wednesday), we held experiential learning at the Ikebukuro Disaster Prevention Center.
They experienced earthquakes, smoke, and firefighting, and also conducted training on how to provide first aid. Many of the students had never experienced a disaster firsthand, but everyone approached the exercises with great seriousness.
One student shared their thoughts, saying, “Today, I was able to have a valuable experience filled with the tension of being in a real earthquake or fire, and it was very informative. In the future, even if we encounter actual earthquakes or fires, I hope to apply the lessons we learned today."

Today is Tanabata, the Star Festival!
At the Tokyo International Exchange Ikebukuro School, we made heart and star-shaped paper strips using origami.
Students wrote their wishes on the strips their made with heartfelt dedication.
We hope our wishes come true!
On May 30th, on "Zero Garbage Day", we participated in a local cleanup activity with the members of the Minamiotsuka 3-chome Toshima Ward Town Council.
We were divided into several groups and using tongs (garbage scissors) and garbage bags, cleaning the area around the school, the road that we used to go to and from school every day, and the location of the neighborhood association in cooperation with the members of the neighborhood association.
Participating students commented, "I think Japanese people value the environment and the environment in which they live. It was a great learning experience."
